How Tackle Supplier handles the information you send with a sourcing enquiry.
Who we are
Tackle Supplier is a sourcing and inspection service based in Weihai, Shandong, China. We handle wholesale, OEM and private-label sourcing enquiries for fishing tackle buyers outside China. We are the controller of the enquiry information described below.
What we collect
- What you enter in the enquiry form: product line, target quantity, specifications, fittings, OEM or private-label requirement, sample requirement, packaging, target price, destination market and required certifications.
- Your contact details: name, company, country, email and WhatsApp number.
- Information in email replies, such as a drawing or sample photo, if you choose to send one.
- Which page you submitted from, the time of submission and optional campaign or referrer details used to understand the enquiry source.
The form is for business sourcing enquiries. Please do not send identity documents, payment details or other sensitive personal data.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To check your specification against shortlisted factories and ask them the questions needed to quote.
- To keep a record so that follow-up, sampling and any later order can be traced.
- To meet our own accounting and compliance obligations.
We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails unrelated to your enquiry.
Who we share it with
- Candidate factories. To obtain a quote we send the technical part of your brief — specification, quantity, materials, packaging requirements and destination market. We do not pass your contact details to a factory unless you confirm you want that factory to contact you directly.
- Service providers who host this site and the mailbox that receives enquiries, acting on our instructions.
- Authorities where we are legally required to disclose.
We do not share your details with advertising networks or data brokers.
Where it is stored and how long we keep it
Your enquiry is kept in our email correspondence records for 24 months.
Access is limited to the people handling sourcing enquiries. After that period, the correspondence is deleted, or reduced to an anonymous record if we need to keep it for accounting.
Your choices and rights
- Ask to see the enquiry information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it or delete it.
- Withdraw your consent for us to keep working on your enquiry at any time — we will stop and delete the record unless we are required to keep it.
- Ask us to stop sharing your specification with further factories.
Write to sales@tacklesupplier.com with "Data request" in the subject line and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle enquiry information, we will update this page and change the date below.
